Orange-marinated pork fillet with noodles

Add a sweet citrus zing to pork with this fresh orange marinade.

Method

Mix together marinade ingredients and pour over pork fillets. Leave for 10 minutes and remove the fillets.
Heat oil in a pan and sear the pork on each side. Add marinade to the pan and simmer for 15 minutes.
Remove fillets and let marinade reduce for 5 minutes.
Cook noodles, drain and toss with sesame oil and sesame seeds.
Slice the pork, pour over pan juices and garnish with chopped spring onions, cilantro leaves and orange zest.
Serve the pork with sesame noodles.

250g Pad thai rice noodles
2 tablespoons oil
1 tablespoon sesame oil
¼ cup sesame seeds, toasted
Spring onions, coriander and orange zest

1 cup fresh orange juice
1 tablespoon palm or brown sugar
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 teaspoons sesame oil
1 teaspoon ground coriander
3 cardamom pods, bruised
1 teaspoon sambal oelek
A pinch of crushed dried chilli flakes
2 lime leaves
Sea salt and black pepper
