Citrus uses for laundry
- Get rid of mildew or rust stains on clothes with a paste of lemon juice and salt, and leave to dry in the sun.
- Scrub underarm stains with equal parts lemon juice and water.
- Instead of using harsh bleach, soak dull-looking laundry in warm water with fresh lemon or grapefruit juice and baking soda for half an hour before washing as usual.
- For cleaner, brighter laundry, add a cup of lemon juice to your washing machine during the wash cycle.
